Scarlet Sally is a budding Maltese pop-rock band which consists of lead vocalist Janice Debattista, guitarists Luke Grech and Mathias Mallia, bassist Joseph Axiak and drummer Lesnich Vassallo. The band was founded as Miss Chief by a group of friends for a one-off gig opening for a Coldplay tribute band. A few months after that unique performance, Miss Chief decided that, with a slight line-up change, they had the potential for something big. Now they are taking on the name Scarlet Sally in December 2012.

As Miss Chief, the band played a multitude of gigs and established itself through its performances - which are characterised by smiles and the expected antics - playing their own take on some modern pop successes as well as rock classics. Over the last few months, the band has started to focus more on its own musical identity. This is the main reason for the change in the name. Releases will soon follow the name, some expected by those who are regulars in the audience, and some which will take even them by surprise.
